On this 14th anniversary of 9/11, let us remember not only the many victims, but also the many reformist Muslims who have emerged since then. There are female Muslim comics who risk their lives to expose the idiocy of Islamists (see Moral Courage TV). There's an openly gay imam - yes, gay - who has just launched an online school that teaches liberal interpretations of Islam. (I'll introduce him to you soon.)
And then there's the exquisitely wise Malala, who was only a toddler on Sept 11, 2001. Yet she's among humanity's inspirations now - a global Lady Liberty, you might say. May we all stand tall for each other.
