Earl Jones is not the worst culprit. The true villain is our Canadian Niceness.
Criminals from around the world must consider Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as a prime destination - a place to live and a place to stand - a land where, if by any chance the police should catch you, and if the courts ever get around to trying you, you will probably get a slap on the wrist and breakfast in bed.
Earl Jones blatantly wallowed in the wealth of his friends and relatives and other innocent victims for many years. He was finally tried in court in Montreal, where, on February 15, 2010, he received a sentence of eleven years in prison.
But wait ! By the nice laws that govern our so-called "justice system", Earl Jones will only have to serve one-sixth of the sentence, a mere few months and then, he and/or his wife will be free to go wherever he planted some of that stolen money.
Jones' victims and their children and grandchildren, however, will suffer the consequences of his greedy crimes for decades to come.
Ah! Yes ! Canadians are so nice, and Montreal is a true paradise for criminals.

Come One, Come All to Montreal !
