IN PAKISTAN, RAPING LITTLE GIRLS IS CALLED "MARRIAGE"

Girls as young as 10 are married off in the Sindh province of Pakistan, but a local NGO has mobilized hundreds of men from the village to promote women's rights and make early marriage a thing of the past. Sujag Sansar Organization (SSO) uses theater performances to raise awareness about the plight of child brides.
"The rights of women and girls...are basic issues that are keeping our society from progressing," said Mashooque Birhamani, SSO's chief executive officer.
