THE PHYLLIS CARTER DETENTION - CONDEMNED IN ABSENTIA IN FOUR MINUTES
March 18, 2016
Celine Leduc - (Some people) think they are possessed. Some kid was told he was the spirit of Elvis. One woman was sure she was possessed by Marilyn Monroe and one an on ....
Phyllis Carter > Celine Leduc - Sick people need to be treated quickly before they do something crazy. That's why I always say we need more insane asylums and more psychiatrists. Psychiatry should be covered by Medicare because poor people going off the rails must not be overlooked. We have seen so much innocent bloodshed because mentally ill people are ignored.
Strangely enough, in Montreal, Quebec, if someone doesn't like you, they can apply for a court order to have you taken to hospital by the Montreal Police for "a thirty-day mental evaluation". Anyone can fill out the application with the help of the CLSC (Quebec Community Clinic) at no cost, and have the court order fulfilled by a judge the next day.
The accused person is not notified of the accusation or the court hearing. The judgement is made in about four minutes without a hearing, without a lawyer, without notification, without any legal procedure. No one calls the accused or speaks to the accused. No bailiff appears with a document. The Montreal Police just come and knock on your door and take you away.
This is not THE TWILIGHT ZONE or a joke. It happened to me and it is totally legal in Quebec.
