U.S.A. - APPEALING TO BLACK VOTERS - WHO ARE THEY?

THE AMERICAN CANDIDATES FOR THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT ARE APPEALING TO BLACK VOTERS.

It is wrong to appeal to Black voters instead of appealing to people. It is wrong to shove all people with dark skins into one basket.

 

People of colour are as varied as people with light skin.

The Negro whose ancestors came to North America generations ago is not the same as the person who came from the Caribbean a few years ago or a few days ago, or the Dravidian who came from India.

 

The Christian man with dark skin is not the same as a Black Muslim.

 

The person with dark skin who has a fine education, a good family and a successful career is not the same as the dark skinned man who is buying drugs or robbing stores or raping women.

 

It is wrong, so wrong to generalize. The politics of race is disgusting and tyrannical people with dark skins make it difficult for Negro people to dare to say, "I don't agree with the Black leaders".

 

Black is no more or less beautiful than any other colour.

 

It is all about politics and the abuse of the facts of history. It is tyranny.

 

If your skin is dark, speak up for yourself and don't allow strong willed people with their own agendas to determine your fate or speak for you.

 

As we say in Yiddish, "Be a mensch."  - An individual of substance and self respect.
