FORMER PALESTINIAN NEGOTIATOR TO THE WEST:
DO WE HAVE TO HIJACK YOUR PLANES AGAIN?
Former Palestinian negotiator Nabil Shaath complained that the Palestinians have lost the world's attention due to the ongoing Syrian crisis and he cynically asked the West: "Do we have to hijack your planes and destroy your airports again to make you care about our cause?"
Shaath, a Fatah Central Committee member, adamantly asserted that "anything is better" than a peace process mediated by the US, which is Israel's "strategic ally."
Fatah is the political party of Palestinian Authority's Chairman, Mahmoud Abbas. This is the Peace Partner that the world expects Israel to make peace with.
