NO ONE OWNS GOD

 

 

Calvinists believe that God "elects"

Certain people to be "saved".

Everyone else is doomed.

 

Calvinists preach "predestination".

No matter what you do,

It makes no difference to God.

God has favourites,

So don't ask questions.

 

Which Bible are they reading?

My Bible says

God does not play favourites.

 

Romans 2:11.  Acts 10:34

 

But fanatics can twist the Bible

This way and that,

To fit their fantasies

And serve their purpose.

 

Calvinists preach that women

Should be subservient, obedient,

 To men.

Thousands of women

Fill their southern churches

And submit "joyfully".

In American in 2014.

 

That certainly serves the purposes

Of men -

Half their population as

Happy slaves.

 

And yet such "Christians" scorn

The Muslims for doing the same.

 

If your Creator gave you a normal brain,

You won't fall into the trap of

Believing what men say about God.

No one owns God.

 

Common sense would tell you

That living a clean life,

And being kind to others,

Just about covers it.

 

The rest is up to

The One who gives

And sustains life.

 

NO ONE KNOWS

WHAT THE CREATOR THINKS.

 

That is the simple,

Non-political,

Truth.

 

All the rest is commentary.

 

And so much of  the rest

Is greed  -

Or madness.
