The Southern California shootings involved a female suspect who once lived in Saudi Arabia. As you know, I'm outspoken about the odious U.S. alliance with that kingdom. Still, there are decent *people* everywhere. Here's a wonderful moment from my global teaching tour. A Saudi woman studying a U.S. college approaches me to say, "Thank you for opening my eyes to the wrong way that my government is teaching us Islam." Surrounding her are other, equally intrigued, Saudi students - men.
