AMERICAN CONSERVATIVES COMPLAIN ABOUT SHARIA LAW

We reported the first muslim-majority city council just a few weeks ago and to no surprise, the town of Hamtramck, Michigan is already being subjected to Sharia law.

Thanks to an administration that has forced our country down the path of political correctness, we are now being force fed religious cultures that are not compatible with the Constitution of The United States.

The first order of business for the newly elected Muslims was to build an Islamic center that could accommodate 2,000 people. Of course, the unsuspecting residents had no idea that "Islamic center" means "mosque" in politically correct lingo.

The next step for the Sharia council was to ban local businesses from selling alcohol within 500 feet of a mosque. Residents are also worried that new legislation will interfere with "entertainment" in their town, but that's now the least of their worries.

The Hamtramck Review reports that locals are literally losing sleep because of the council's latest move. Residents are complaining that the new Islamic center's call to prayer is blasting them awake at 6 a.m. every morning.

Jeanette Powell of the Hamtramck Senior Plaza apartments near the mosque explains that she doesn't want to "bash anyone's religion," but that the early morning adhan is so loud it's "unbearable."

"Just turn it down a little bit," she told the paper.

Neighbor Carol Marsh also insists that adhan is well above the appropriate and legal noise level, but her biggest concern is that the council deceived the city into believing the building was not going to be used for religious purposes.

"We were lied to," she said. "We were told it would never be turned into a mosque."

Of course, the Muslim members have threatened Marsh, warning that if she continues to complain, they'll sue her for defamation.

The head of the mosque, Sakrul Islam, is leading the threats of lawsuit, also accusing city council member Robert Zwolak of procuring complaints because "he is against Muslims."

Not only do residents have to listen to the new Islamic center's deafening droning, but another mosque only a block away also booms the adhan over loudspeakers every morning.

More of these things are happening everyday across the country. Just a few days ago a New York judge took the oath of office by swearing in using the Quran and now we have a town lead my Muslims who are breaking U.S. laws to force Sharia law on citizens in the town.
