URGENT CALL TO SAVE ANIMALS - LOS ANGELES AREA - STOP THE CRUELTY NOW !

BAN THE BULLHOOK - On Wednesday, 10/23/13, the Los Angeles City Council will consider the proposal to ban the use of cruel bull hooks— with sharp hooks on the end that resemble fireplace pokers. These devices are used by circuses to hurt and punish elephants in training.
 
If you are in the Los Angeles area please attend the City Council meeting wearing yellow to express your support for the bullhook ban. We need to pack the house to show the council that local citizens support protecting elephants.
 
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 10:00 a.m. at the following location: John Ferraro Council Chamber Room 340, City Hall 200 North Spring Street Los Angeles, Calif.
