RACISM, BIGOTS, HATERS - SOME PEOPLE CLAIM PRIDE IN THEIR OWN RACE

 

 

 

 

There are people who claim that they do not hate others,

But they are simply "proud" of their own race.

 

What right does anyone have to be "proud"

Of their own race?

 

We have nothing to do with what race we are.

It happens to us at conception.

 

Race is not a accomplishment

 

We may choose our religion;

We may choose to speak one or more languages.

 

But no one chooses his or her race,

Therefore,

No one can take credit for their race,

And no one has any right to claim

"Pride"

About their own race.

 

It is a ploy,

An excuse for being a bigot.

 

Nor does anyone have a right to cast

Shame

Upon people of a different race.

 

One may be proud that members of their race

Have accomplished some good,

Advanced through their own hard work

Their concern and generosity toward others,

Their kindness, diligence, honesty, courage,

Their charity.

 

But the colour of your skin has nothing to do with

Pride or shame:

It is a biological entity

Like toe nails.
