Follow the news.
You will see over and over again,
That when someone commits murder,
The excuse is -
" The killer is insane
And, therefore,
Not responsible for his or her acts ".
Therefore, in speaking frankly,
We must admit that -
Only sane people commit murder:
All the rest of the atrocities
Are forgiven -
Because
The killers are pathetic lunatics.
It is alarming to realize
How many lunatics
Are running free among us.
And how helpless we are
To stop them.
Because western law -
Based on the New Testament,
Commands us
to
Forgive our enemies
Again and again and again.
The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?" 22 Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.[a]
