A man orders the slaughter of thousands of people -

And the politicians say -

 

"Let's talk"

 

Industry threatens the Great Barrier Reef,

And the politicians say -

 

"Let's talk"

 

 

Chalk River, Three Mile Island, Chernobyl

Fukishima,

 

 

And the politicians say -

 

"Let's talk"

 

 

We kneel on the precipice of the abyss;

 

Millions of little children suffer and die; 

 

 

 

The sun shoots the fires of hell at Earth,

While asteroids whoosh gaily by -

 

 

 

And the politicians say -

 

" Let's have a drink -

 

And let's talk."

 

Everyone talks about

Democracy -

 

No one offers
