My mother fell at home in January/2004.

She was admitted to the Lakeshore General Hospital for treatment of a broken femur. She never recovered...contracting c.difficile, she was in and out of the Lakeshore, Julius Richardson, Catherine Booth, Jewish Rehab...never home for more than a few months maximum...Christmas 2005,

she came home the 23rd and was back in the 24th, so 2004 was her last Christmas at home.

Philippe Couillard was Social Affairs Minister at the time. He knew about the c.difficile virus and its virulence, the mortality factor, the risk to the elderly. Nothing was done.

A lawyer who brought up the fact of a class action suit has mysteriously gone silent.

It is time for an aggressive, up-and-coming attorney looking to make a name for him/herself to get the suit active, get serious compensation for the families of the victims, and for the Crown, instead of worrying about small amounts of money supposedly taken by the Lieutenant-Governor, look at how many lives (and the attendant losses therefore incurred by families) were taken due to the negligence of the former Minister of Social Affairs.

Authorization to copy to Phyllis Carter's Journal.
