The filthy habit of smoking
Has killed more people
Than all the wars of history.
It has become a thing of shame
Among intelligent people.
But the greedy tobacco barons
Are still poisoning people
All over the world -
In India and Asia,
Mexico and South America,
Where uneducated, poor people,
Are still coughing their way
To agonizing death.
And the tobacco barons
Are still piling up their ill-gotten gains.
