MARLENE JENNINGS - WOULD THESE CRIMES BE IN HER JURISDICTION THEN ?

 

Since October, 1996, when I was attacked and robbed in my home with the help of the Montreal Police, I have pleaded with Marlene Jennings, Member of Parliament, to help me recover everything stolen from me and from my family by Dawn McSweeney and those she boastfully calls her "partners in crime" on her own blog.

 

Marlene Jennings told me these crimes were not in her jurisdiction.

Finally in 2008, Marlene Jennings

stated at two public meetings,

 

"Mrs. Carter's rights were violated three times."

 

But these crimes were not in her jurisdiction.

 

If Marlene Jennings is elected to Provincial government, would the crimes that destroyed my family finally be in her jurisdiction  - or, after my pleading for fifteen years, will she then say I am too late for justice?

A former high-profile Liberal MP says her next run for office may be under François Legault's new provincial political party in Quebec.

Marlene Jennings was a Liberal MP for 14 years, but lost her seat in Notre-Dame-de-Grace-Lachine to the NDP in the last federal election.

She said she's had two meetings with Legault and he's asked her to consider running for the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ).

"I'm seriously considering his offer," Jennings told CBC Montreal's Daybreak Thursday morning.

A former Parti Québécois cabinet minister, Legault officially launched his centre-right political party in November.

Jennings said her goal in meeting with Legault was to help him understand the role and needs of the English-speaking communities in Quebec.

But, even if she does run for the CAQ, Jennings said she hopes to retain her role as president of the federal Liberal riding association for NDG-Lachine.
