I appreciate the faith people have in God.
It gives me hope.
But I cannot allow myself to be blind to reality.
If we sublimate by sinking into prayer and dreaming,
We may be avoiding our responsibility to act as the Children of God,
By actually doing something to make things better.
If all we do is say tsk-tsk! and wait for God to act, we have failed.
