FOREST FIRES - THIS CALLS FOR A CARTOON ?

Biology Professor Bruce Hungate of Northern Arizona University interviewed on Vermont Public Radio June 19, 2011, described how forest wild fires release nitrous oxide from micro organisms in the soil. The effects on climate change can last for years.

Nitrous Oxide is commonly knows as laughing gas.

So, if there are any animals left alive after a forest fire, I can imagine they might be laughing their heads off.

Huh ?
