WHO WILL HELP THE ABUSED, THE REJECTED, THE OPPRESSED?

 

Not the "ordinary" people:

 

They are too busy;

They don't want to make waves;

They don't want to get involved.

 

They have their own troubles.

 

They just follow the rules.

 

No, if you want someone to help you,

Look to the "oddballs"

Look to the eccentrics.

 

Look to those who suffer ridicule,

Victims of contempt;

 

Look to those who don't just follow orders,

The ones who dare to think;

The ones who care.

And dare to demand justice,

Just because it is right to do so.

 

Look to those who suffer the slings and arrows

Of the self-centred majority.

 

They feel your pain as their own.

 

They too hunger for justice,

 

But these rare beings

 

Are willing to act.

 

They are the hope of the world.
