A LESSON FROM CHARLES DICKENS

 

As a young man, Charles Dickens was responsible for recording the proceedings in London's Parliament. Here is what he wrote about it.

 

"Night after night,

I recorded predictions that never came to pass,

promises that were never fulfilled,

and explanations that were meant to mystify.

I wallowed in words."
