Young people are being asked to subscribe to Obamacare.
On the surface
It seems unfair to ask the young and healthy
To subsidize the elderly, the handicapped and the sick;
But if you young people do not support public health care,
You will pay dearly.
Who do you think is going to take care of
Your parents and grandparents when they fall ill?
Who do you think is going to pay
When children die
Because their parents could not afford preventive care,
Or needed treatments?
It is YOU young, healthy people who will pay -
And you will pay heavily,
In money - and in guilt.
Only the very rich can take care of themselves
And, oh, so very richly !
The rest of the People of America
Need each other -
And that means contributing and sharing
In the good times,
To ensure there will not be needless suffering
In the dark times.
