Pierre and Eliane Thivillon with Digit the gorilla

French zoo keepers Pierre and Eliane Thivillon have been sharing their home - and their bed - with a gorilla named Digit for the last 13 years after she was abandoned as a baby by her mother.

 

 

Phyllis Carter  Most people in the west today are so focused on money, finance, fiscal issues, they can't think of anything else. The American Republican election campaign is very revealing. It shows the world the true face of the Ugly Americans - those who hold almost all the money and power - and still want more. Only a few people in the world who are tuned into reality can appreciate the beauty of a gorilla.
