MAYBE THERE ISN'T ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO SAVE OURSELVES ANYWAY, BUT PRETENDING THAT WE ARE NOT IN REAL DANGER IS CHILDISH. EVEN DURING WORLD WAR TWO, THERE WERE SUBMARINES JUST OFF THE CANADIAN COASTS AND IN THE CUBAN MISSILE CRISIS, WE WERE HOURS AWAY FROM A NUCLEAR ATTACK. IF JFK AND KRUSCHEV HAD NOT MADE A DEAL, WE MIGHT NOT EVEN BE HERE NOW. IF NORTH KOREA IS ABLE TO LAUNCH THOSE MISSILES YOU CAN BE SURE THEY HAVE LAUNCHED SUBMARINES. IF THERE IS A NUCLEAR ATTACK, THE LIVING WILL ENVY THE DEAD.
