While we were all distracted by our nations politics, and were debating the rights and wrongs of this political party or that, war was still raging throughout the world. We should absolutely discuss politics around election time as the decisions our leaders make have consequences.

Whilst we are selling arms to Saudi Arabia, we have a direct responsibility to how they use them, because let's face it, we knew how they would use them before we sold weapons to them.

The people of Yemen are being bombed and killed, yes. But they're also being starved. And we have attributed to this in our actions!

Muslims in Need are a fantastic organisation who I have the utmost respect for. Every penny, every donation goes exactly where it's needed. There are no fat cats at the top, taking huge wages. If you could give to them, then that would be great, or even just follow what they do. Look into what's happening in Yemen too. Our politics have consequences!
