FORMER MONTREAL MAYOR TRIES TO ESCAPE TRIAL WHILE MONTREAL DECAYS

Former Montreal mayor, Michael Applebaum, awaits trial next month on multiple charges of corruption, accepting bribes, etc., the current mayor poured thousands of tons of raw sewage into the St. Lawrence River, and the Montreal Police continue to cover up crime.

Michael Applebaum's lawyers have tried and tried to stop the proceedings against their client, but a Gazette report on September 13 by Linda Gyulai tells us that a judge has refused their demands and his trial is scheduled for October.

Meanwhile, no one is investigating these crimes aided and abetted by the Montreal Police.

Once our beautiful neighborhoods, crumbling, inviting beasts of various kinds.  First the physical decline, then the social decline, then come the mental and moral declines.  We elect politicians to look after these matters!  Why do we let the bureaucrats and rule books doze over the minutiae?  Look at the crumbling buildings in these neighborhoods. Will yours be next?

Today, St. Dominique. Tomorrow?
