Our world is in turmoil today with war and hunger and flood and fire and poverty and disease everywhere.

And there are people who are capitalizing on the suffering of the multitudes by invoking the name of God and claiming that they are His messengers come to save us.

The truth is that there are basically two kinds of men (and women) who are at play here. Those who are genuinely deranged and those who hunger for power over the multitudes.

The danger is that the young, the naive, those who have been brainwashed and those who hope to benefit by hanging onto the coat tails of the leaders will gain that power and we will face oppression such as has not been seen since the Nazis spread their poison over Europe.

Anyone who believes in God should consider that their Creator probably provided them with a functioning brain. Why would you allow another person to twist your thinking to serve his purpose? Why would you kneel at their feet in the hope of pleasing God when they are just men and not gods?

The bible warns again and again against seeking wealth and worshipping idols.

If you have not lived through World War II or learned about it through evidence you can see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears, the evidence is available to everyone these days. Look! Listen! Think!

You cannot claim that you did not know.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God." Matthew 19:24.

Are you willing to sell yourself and your children into slavery by following greedy men, by joining with them and supporting them in order to enrich your bank accounts?

Do you really believe - when you stop to think - IF you stop to think - that following them, you will be introduced to Jesus? If you prick them, do they bleed?

Are those politicians men and God? Are all those right-wing leaders and preachers God? Surely only one of them can be God. All the rest are - what? But they all say they are speaking for God.

America is teetering on the precipice, about to fall into the abyss:

If you know what the Nazis did, are you willing to do the same? How far will you go to enrich yourself? Will you betray your neighbours? Will you betray your friends? Will you see them to the train station?

Come, let us reason together, says the Lord. Isaiah 1:18

He gave you brains. He invites you to think.

I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason and intellect has intended us to forego their use. Galileo

This is what I think, what I believe -

There are basically two kinds of players at work in the world today:

Those who are mentally ill and really believe that they speak for God,

And those who are shrewd and evil and greedy and seek great power over multitudes of people.

When you choose your leader, remember Adolf Hitler and remember what happened to those who supported him in God's name,

On April 20, 1939, Archbishop Orsenigo celebrated Hitler's birthday. The celebrations, initiated by Pacelli (Pope Pius XII) became a tradition. Each April 20, Cardinal Bertram of Berlin was to send "warmest congratulations to the Fuhrer in the name of the bishops and the dioceses in Germany" and added with "fervent prayers which the Catholics of Germany are sending to heaven on their altars."

The Concordat between the Vatican and the Nazis

Cardinal Secretary of State, Eugenio Pacelli (later to become Pope Pius XII) signs the Concordat between Nazi Germany and the Vatican at a formal ceremony in Rome on 20 July 1933. Nazi Vice-Chancellor Franz von Papen sits at the left, Pacelli in the middle, and the Rudolf Buttmann sits at the right.

The Concordat effectively legitimized Hitler and the Nazi government to the eyes of Catholicism, Christianity, and the world.
