"Arrest me", I begged the lady officer.

 

"If you can't arrest the thief, arrest me. At least then, the case will come to court."

 

But the officer appealed to me. "Please Mrs. Carter, I don't want to arrest you. Just be patient and we'll work this out."

 

And so, drenched in tears and in despair, I left.

 

And all the most precious belongings of my life were left in the hands of a very smug Dawn McSweeney.

THE MIDDLE EAST CONFLICT - JUST FOR FUN

 

The troubles of the Middle East continue through the decades, through history. The suffering continues. The unrest continues.

 

We who live in the west might be torn, sympathizing with the Palestinians who are suffering. It is heartbreaking. We may see Israel as Goliath and the Palestinians as David. 

 

It is worth considering that Israel is completely surrounded by neighbours who have clearly declared they intend to "drive Israel into the sea."

 

If you Google on the subject, you will find many sites inciting violence against Israel in the name of Allah. This hurts Muslim people everywhere who are hard working, devout, well educated and raising loving families. It is tragic that these innocent people come under suspicion from their neighbours and co-workers because of those who have chosen the path of violence.

 

There is no way to understand the conflict over the Holy Land without living there or at least studying the history of the struggle from all points of view.

 

How can we in the west decide, objectively and fairly, how to solve this terrible dilemma?

 

It may help to simplify -

 

Who shares our human values ?

The 'Baby Suicide Bomber' refers to a photo that received media attention in 2002.

During a search done on 29 June 2002, of a house belonging to a Hamas militant in the town of Hebron. The IDF found a photo showing a 18-month old Palestinian infant standing wide-eyed in a baby suit, Red wires strapped to his waist, with a pretend explosives belt, and across his head tied a red bandana of Hamas.

According to BBC News the baby's grandfather, Redwan Abu Turki, said that the dressing of the infant baby as a bomber was from a rally at the university and that "the picture was taken just for the fun of it".

Israeli newspapers published the photograph under headlines such as "Terror in Diapers" and "Born to Kill". Israeli Prime Minister Sharon's advisor Dore Gold said the picture "symbolizes the hatred and incitement which the Palestinian leadership has been feeding a whole generation of Palestinian youths." At the U.S. State Department, spokesman Richard Boucher stated that he considered the image as "a highly objectionable display."

While Palestinian officials dismissed it as a propaganda trick, Haaretz reported that a Palestinian journalist in the Hebron area said she did not believe the picture was a fake and expressed surprise at the furor it caused in Israel.

"I can find you many, many photos like this," she said. "Many kids imitate adults and wear toy masks and guns, especially during marches. It's not strange at all". She added that she had seen children as young as the one in the photograph wearing similar costumes: "In our society it happens a lot. It's a kind of phenomenon."

Other photos of children dressed up as terrorists have been published since then.

There are more things in heaven and earth - than the politicians tell us.

 

We elect them. We pay them. And then they lie to us for the duration.

 

What's more, there is no penalty for politicians who lie.

 

And which politician would be willing to pass legislation that required them to be honest ?

CRIME IS NOT IN OUR JURISDICTION - CANADA'S GANG JUSTICE

 

 

Our whole civilization's structure is built on the collective - the group, the political party, the company, the union, the corporation, the board of governors, the parole board, the school board, the committee, the church, the fraternity, the brotherhood, the armed forces, police forces - always the collective. The authorized bullies rally around to cover the worst criminals - as long as they are members of their tribe. It's like our hockey team, our football team. My country right or wrong. Justice has no part in it. Canadian citizens are suppressed by jungle law.

 

In that way, the individual wearing a badge or robes may commit all sorts of crimes and abuses with relative impunity - and even walk away from his crimes with a fat bonus to boot. All the rogue or the bungler has to do is hide under the skirts and the symbols of the collective while they pull up the drawbridge to keep out those pesty citizens who come pleading for justice. 

 

On October 7, 1996, A Montreal Police officer helped a young thief named Dawn McSweeney to rob me and destroy our family.

 

Then the Montreal Police detectives cover up: Incriminating fingerprints disappeared from the empty jewellery cases returned by the thief, Dawn McSweeney to the victim - five months after the attack and robbery.

 

In 2008, Member of Parliament, Marlene Jennings, stated at two public meetings,

"Mrs. Carter's rights were violated three times."

 

But no one is held responsible. No one did anything wrong. These crimes are in nobody's jurisdiction. The case is closed - even though it was never open.

 

To this day, The Montreal Police are still covering up for the thief and that policeman, ignoring all the pleas of the victim - a widow fighting for her life against cancer and the thieves. 

 

I imagine the Montreal Police and the politicians are hoping I will just die and the case will be buried with me. But I have reported these crimes on the World Wide Web and thousands of people around the world know about this case. It will never be buried, never be forgotten. People will be talking about it for generations to come, and they will remember the Montreal Police as the accomplices in The Dawn McSweeney Robbery.

Well, buddies, it is happening. The people are sick of the insults of the Conservatives and the irresponsibility of the Liberals and we are aching for a saviour.

Whether Layton wins at the polls tomorrow or not, he has already won by showing the world that even an injured bird can overcome tyrants in the hearts of good people.

 

Even if we lose, we win, because we are declaring our freedom from neglect, and corruption.
