As Jack Layton's star rises, those who have held power forever are suddenly shocked to find they are no longer the favourite child. Oh, my! We may not be getting all those perks and goodies anymore ! We can't let Little Jack steal our fun.
Well, buddies, it is happening. The people are sick of the insults of the Conservatives and the irresponsibility of the Liberals and we are aching for a saviour.
Will Jack save us? Probably not, but this is Canada thumbing it's collective nose at the arrogant politicians who have abused us for so long.
Whether Layton wins at the polls tomorrow or not, he has already won by showing the world that even an injured bird can overcome tyrants in the hearts of good people.
Even if we lose, we win, because we are declaring our freedom from neglect, and corruption.
THERE CAN BE NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE.
