SAVE CIVILIZATION - TELL YOUR ELECTED POLITICIANS TO -

Stop forgiving criminals

and

Protecting their criminal lawyers.

A GOOD START

When you wake up,
Whether you are a "believer" or not,
Say,
"Thank God !"

Like chicken soup,
It couldn't hurt.

And then,
Say,

"Whatever I do is good,
Whatever I do is good,
Whatever is do
is
Good !"

And mean it -

and

Do It !

No matter what anyone else does,
No matter what anyone else says,

Only you can do what you will do.

THE GOVERNMENT YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SEE - DEEP STATE AND WHISTLE BLOWERS

In a world full of minute-to-minute news, our heads spin. I think most people just give up. Who  can absorb all this stuff? Wars, crime, finance, atrocities, suffering, injustice without end. I think most people find it all too much. After all, every adult has his or her own full load of problems and responsibilities. Why bother? We can't change anything anyway.

Politicians and the filthy rich know you will give up. Things are going on in government that are known only to those who can profit from what is going on.

For the benefit of people who care  - anyway  - Bill Moyers of PBS provides vital information we can begin to understand. He invites guests who have knowledge and experience to shine a light on what is going on in government that governments do not want you to know. Watch and listen and see for yourself.

Excerpt:

The Deep State does not consist of the entire government. It is a hybrid of national security and law enforcement agencies: the Department of Defense, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Justice Department. I also include the Department of the Treasury because of its jurisdiction over financial flows, its enforcement of international sanctions and its organic symbiosis with Wall Street. All these agencies are coordinated by the Executive Office of the President via the National Security Council. Certain key areas of the judiciary belong to the Deep State, such as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, whose actions are mysterious even to most members of Congress. Also included are a handful of vital federal trial courts, such as the Eastern District of Virginia and the Southern District of Manhattan, where sensitive proceedings in national security cases are conducted. The final government component (and possibly last in precedence among the formal branches of government established by the Constitution) is a kind of rump Congress consisting of the congressional leadership and some (but not all) of the members of the defense and intelligence committees. The rest of Congress, normally so fractious and partisan, is mostly only intermittently aware of the Deep State and when required usually submits to a few well-chosen words from the State's emissaries.

MURDERING CHILDREN IS SO COMMON NOW THAT NO ONE PAYS ATTENTION

Thousands of babies, toddlers and young children
Are being
Beaten, raped, tortured, starved, murdered
All over North America.
But who cares ?

VERMONT, U.S.A.

"DCF failed. They failed my niece," Lisa Eastman said.

Eastman told WCAX News Sunday the state is partially to blame for the death of her 2-year-old niece. Dezirae Sheldon was allegedly murdered by her stepfather, Dennis Duby. Eastman says the Vermont Department for Children and Families should have kept Dezarie away from her mother and stepfather at the first signs of trouble.

"Dezirae had a broken leg and previous fractures to her other leg," Lisa Eastman said.

As we first reported, Dezirae's mother, Sandy Eastman, was previously arrested for abusing her daughter. However, Dezirae was back in her mother's custody a few months later. Family members say they warned state officials the girl was in further danger.

Prosecutors say Dezirae died when Duby crushed her skull. He denies it. The death of the toddler shocked the entire state, including the governor.

"This situation just breaks my heart," said Shumlin, D-Vermont. "As the father of daughters and anyone in Vermont that looks at this and sees a two-year-old who had a bright future. We lost her to someone who has an empty heart, a brute... it breaks your heart."

Shumlin has called for an external investigation. He wants to know if DCF and others involved handled the case properly. The Vermont Agency of Human Services will look into what went wrong to see if more could have been done to prevent Dezirae's death.

"Ensure that we learn from this kind of tragedy and do everything in our power to make sure no little girl or boy in the state loses their life," Shumlin said.

But some state senators say the Legislature can't wait for an agency investigation before acting.

"What we are looking to do on the Senate side is to empower a committee or panel to take a look at our existing policies as it relates to the Department of Children and Families and try to figure out if there can be improvements made, if we can learn from any mistakes that may have occurred," said Sen. Kevin Mullin, R-Rutland County.

Dezirae's grieving family wants to be certain no other families endure the same pain.

"You have to think of what that little girl saw the last moments of her life was somebody with so much anger and hate toward her," said Michelle Brown, a friend of the family.

The Department for Children and Families will conduct its own internal investigation into the girl's death as well.

Two vigils are planned this weekend for the toddler who was murdered last week.

Dezirae Sheldon, 2, died from a massive head injury. Her stepfather, Dennis Duby, is charged with second-degree murder.

The case has drawn attention from child abuse advocates because Dezirae's mother was convicted of abusing her last year, but then regained custody of her.

Two vigils are planned for Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. One will be held in Rutland at the Main Street Park, the other in downtown Barre City at the gazebo by the statue.

THE JAPANESE DON'T HAVE A MONOPOLY ON LYING, BUT

The Japanese lie and lie and lie.

They have lied, even to their own people, about Fukushima.

My friends in Sendai, close to Fukushima, were persuaded that there was no danger. They were told to stay home and watch the radiation on geiger counters, rather than take their children away from Fukushima.

My friends are educated people, but they believe their government. I offered to help them. They refused. They stayed, and I fear for their childrens' future health. Poor kids. It breaks my heart.

The Japanese lie when they say they slaughter whales for science. They slaughter whales for profit.

The Japanese lie about the present and the past. They are trying to cover up the atrocities they committed in World War II. They lie about how they tortured and abused  Korean girls, forced them to become prostitutes to Japanese soldiers, called them "comfort women", a "necessity" to provide relief to the Japanese armed forces. Yes, of course the Nazis did it too, but one monster at a time, please.

No, the Japanese are not the only ones who lie, but they may be counted on to lie about anything and everything.

I feel sorry for young Japanese girls and boys who have not yet done any harm to anyone but will bear the scorn of history by merely being recognized as Japanese. Do not blame the children for the sins of their parents and grandparents. Teach them. Teach them. Tell them the truth. Give them a chance to be better.

JAPANESE MAYOR SAYS WOMEN FORCED INTO PROSTITUTION WAS A NECESSITY

The Japanese will keep lying about
The atrocities they committed in World War II.
They will try to change the pages of history
By lying and lying,
Until the last victims,
The last witnesses
Have died.

Japan has long been criticized for school books that fail to acknowledge atrocities committed by Japanese troops in World War II as well as continued ceremonies that honor war criminals. For that reason, many felt that the recent acknowledgment of forced prostitution of thousands of Asian women — called Comfort Women — was a step forward. Then Toru Hashimoto, the mayor of Osaka, stepped forward. Hashimoto has gone public to defend the forced prostitution as necessary to "maintain discipline" in the ranks and provide rest for soldiers who risked their lives in battle. So much for progress.

Hashimoto seemed to strive to show that fascist values had not been lost on the island: "To maintain discipline in the military, it must have been necessary at that time. For soldiers who risked their lives in circumstances where bullets are flying around like rain and wind, if you want them to get some rest, a comfort women system was necessary. That's clear to anyone." Well, not everyone. There are those 200,0000 women who were forced into prostitution, particularly from Korea and China. Then there are those human beings who can still be found around the world.

To make matters worse, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's conservative government is reportedly considering revising Japan's past apologies for wartime atrocities. Abe has questioned whether "comfort women" were truly forced into prostitution. Rather he suggests that 200,000 Korean and Chinese women may have simply asked to be used a prostitutes without pay or humane treatment.

South Korea warns Japan over comfort women review

South Korean President Park Geun-hye President Park was marking the 1919 uprising against Japanese colonial rule

South Korean President Park Geun-hye has warned Japan it will only bring isolation on itself if it reviews a statement acknowledging its wartime use of sex slaves.

She called on Japan to embrace "truth and reconciliation".

Japan apologised in 1993 to survivors of the many thousands of women who were forced into army brothels.

On Friday Tokyo said it would set up a panel to review the evidence on which that apology was based.

Some conservatives in Japan have claimed that the women, known euphemistically as "comfort women", were prostitutes - something fiercely denied by the women and by Japan's neighbours.

President Park's warning came in a speech marking the anniversary of a 1919 uprising in Korea against Japanese colonial rule.

"Historical truth is in testimony from the survivors," she said.

"Japan would only bring isolation on itself if it turns a deaf ear to their testimony and sweeps it under the rug for political benefits."

President Park urged Japan to follow the example of Germany in repenting its past wrongs so that their two countries could "move forward for a new era of co-operation, peace and prosperity".

"I hope Japan extricates itself from denial of history and starts making a new history of truth and reconciliation", she said.

A museum to some of the comfort women was set up in a nursing home in Toechon, South Korea

Some 200,000 women in territories occupied by Japan during World War Two are estimated to have been forced to become sex slaves for troops.

Many of the women came from China and Korea, but also from the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan.

The 1993 acknowledgement from Japan was viewed as a landmark apology.

Issued by then Chief Cabinet Secretary Yohei Kono, the statement acknowledged that women had been coerced, and that the Japanese military had been involved in the establishment and management of the process.

His statement was based in part on evidence given by 16 Korean women.

However, Japanese government spokesman Yoshihide Suga said on Friday that a team would be formed to review the lead-up to the 1993 statement.

He said the team would "re-examine and understand the background".

He did not say whether Japan would issue a new statement following the review.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Tomiichi Murayama has urged against any revision of the apology.

Mr Murayama, who was prime minister from June 1994 to January 1996, said that the Kono statement was based on evidence.

UKRAINE - A LONG HISTORY OF BIGOTRY AND HATRED

In Ukraine,
Christians and Muslims
Are threatening to tear each other apart.

It started me wondering,
Are any Jewish people left in Ukraine?

My grandparents escaped
From the hatred in Ukraine
At the beginning of the 20th Century.

Did any Jews survive in Ukraine
Into the 21st Century?
