- ASK YOUR PARENTS WHAT IT WAS LIKE WHEN THEY WERE TAUGHT TO HIDE UNDER THEIR SCHOOL DESKS IN THE EVENT OF A NUCLEAR ATTACK. THOSE WOODEN DESKS WERE MAGIC AGAINST RADIATION AND NUCLEAR FIRE.
ASK THE SURVIVORS OF HIROSHIMA IF THEIR WOODEN DESKS HELPED.
PEOPLE IN AMERICA WERE BUILDING BOMB SHELTERS IN THEIR BASEMENTS. POOR FOOLS. HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS AND NEIGHBOURS COULD THEY SQUEEZE INTO THOSE BOXES?
AND HOW MUCH FOOD AND WATER AND TOILET PAPER WOULD LAST FOR HALF A NUCLEAR LIFETIME?
