Under the name Parmalat and I can hear it from here. Lots of trucks come and go everyday. No more ice cream counter.

The building is still standing. I do not see any signs outside. Elsie and Elmer's heads no longer grace the facade and no sign of the old fashioned ice cream parlor.

The Elsie and Elmer heads were discovered by "Urban Explorers" inside the abandoned Salvation Army-Eventide Home next door some years ago. I think they may still be there. I have pix but can't download them for size reasons.

Someone should salvage these for posterity before the building is demolished...any takers?
