It is a bit surprising that there are still fools in Quebec who tolerate the ridiculous, bigoted Tongue Police. Living in one of the best countries on earth, they continue to try to create a fascist state here. I think the silent majority is responsible for doing nothing to shut them down. In Germany, the people did little or nothing to stop the growing cancer of the Nazis who also appeared silly and ridiculous at first. Germans paid a horrible price in the end. Germany has some of the strongest laws against anti-Semitism in the world. The third post war generation of Germans is now emerging and joining the rest of the civilized world. Some of their young people are coming to Canada and becoming doctors and working among Jewish people and learning about us. I had the pleasure of meeting a couple of those fine young medical students this week. Our conversation was an open and satisfying experience. They were surprised to learn that the Jewish language, Yiddish, is very close to the German language. We had a good talk. The children are not responsible for what their parents and grandparents did and they are welcome here. But here we are in the 21st century still having to fight off Quebec fascists in our own country
