WE ARE NOT YET CIVILIZED - BABY BEAUTY PAGEANTS

***********************************
NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE  !
  Luke  18
***********************************

Little girl beauty pageants are grotesque child abuse !

Why doesn't anyone say so ?

Why aren't their parents in prison ?

I caught a bit of one of those pageants on TV by chance yesterday and it makes me want to scream.

Dog shows, cat shows, horse and pony shows, and pageants displaying little four year old toddlers, thickly painted and coiffed and dyed and glittered - enduring false teeth and fake hair - dressed like prostitutes - tiny tots barely out of diapers clawing and biting at each other like harlots in the struggle to win trophies for their mommies' glory.

Twisted, greedy adults torture their own innocent children in the hope of fulfilling their empty selves. And  just watch what those purebred show animals have to suffer for their owners' amusement, satisfaction and profit.

But no one protests. Those shows are criminal abuse and they should be treated as criminal abuse. How far are those baby pageants from pornography, really? They invite prurient excitememt from perverts - with mommy's full approval.

Baby girls and domesticated animals can't take their masters or mistresses to court, and our society is not interested in protecting them. After all, it's just a show !

Bullfights, pit-bull fights, boxing, hockey - and pageants.

We are not yet civilized.

TAKING ON THE GIANTS - WHAT PRICE PEACE ?

***********************************
NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE  !
  Luke  18
***********************************

On November 5, 2009, I took one step out of my apartment door, my foot slipped in a pool of something sticky and my body went flying. I landed hard, screaming in agony,

I have fought for justice since I was a young teenager. In some cases, justice did come after a lot of frustration and effort. When you are young and healthy, it is possible to take on giants.

Since I was attacked and robbed on October 7, 1996, I have been fighting for justice day and night. http://dawnmcsweeney.blogspot.com.

Fighting for my life and for justice.

See Dr. Jerome Stasiak at http//phylliscartersjournal.blogspot.com.

Everything but the proverbial kitchen sink has been thrown in my way to prevent justice from being done. And still I fight.

These battles take all my energy and almost all my time. But it is a vital war against corruption and cruelty that I must fight.

On November 5, 2009, at approximately 2:00 P.M., I took one step out of my apartment door, my foot slipped in a pool of something sticky and my body went flying. I landed hard, screaming in agony,

The landlord's people had been laying carpet and no one told me that they were smearing wet cement in front of my door.

The carpet layers and janitor tried to get me to go back into my apartment, but I insisted on being helped to the lobby and placed on two chairs. The building manager tried to persuade me to take a taxi, but I needed an ambulance. The building manager said it would take hours for an ambulance to come. But I would not be intimidated. In considerable pain, I sat in the lobby by the elevators and waited for the ambulance. It didn't take very long.

I was covered in cement and they did not succeed in hiding me.

Two trips to emergency by ambulance, two trips at $40.00 each to return home in a wheelchair. Four days in emergency. I could not walk for three weeks. My trench coat, purse, shoes, slacks, socks and everything else I was wearing were coated in hard gummy cement. In a few days, my leg was purple and inflated like a balloon from my body to my ankle. No point in discussing the pain. My pelvis was fractured.

There was a witness, another friend took photographs and there are the hospital records

And I did not lodge a complaint against my landlord.

Yet ?

Why?

Because I dread a conflict with a powerful landlord. There has to be one place on earth where I can close my door and be quiet and feel relatively safe.

The landlord has the only other key to my apartment.

And because I always have to fight alone.

There is law in Canada, but there is no justice except for the rich and well-connected.

There is no peace -

NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE.

B.P. OIL CATASTROPHE - THE ALMOST WHOLE TRUTH

THE ALMOST WHOLE TRUTH,

Because we can never know all of it.

The entire Earth and all living things have been poisoned for decades by COAL, OIL, PLASTICS, ARTIFICAL CHEMICALS AND RADIATION. It is so enormous ! How can we defend ourselves and our descendents?

Everything we use every day is polluted by plastic. All our food is touched by plastic - canned goods, frozen food, bottles of everything. We can't escape it.

And with the "coming of age" of computers, every little child is radiated from day one. It is heartbreaking and terrifying. We don't need science fiction horror stories. The truth is far worse.

FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE AND JUSTICE - HUMAN RIGHTS DENIED

*************************

I am fighting for my life and for justice. Quebec's Human Rights Commission
says I am "too late" for justice.

It is not only young members of minority communities that suffer abuse at the hands of the Montreal Police. On October 7, 1996, I was sixty years old, living with my elderly parents while fighting breast cancer when I was attacked and robbed in my home at 4995 Prince of Wales, Montreal. I called 911.

The Montreal Police I called to rescue me - helped the thief instead.

The Montreal Police officer "helped" me out of my home, physically, and left me out in the street alone and destitute without as much as a coat.

I have been pleading for justice day and night for thirteen years.

I have been ignored, delayed, diverted and rejected by those in authority.

Now I am told I am too late for justice.

I am 74 years old, widowed, and last year, I learned I have bone cancer.

Like the Nazis, Dawn McSweeney stole personal treasures and destroyed lives.

The fact that I had become a Christian gave Dawn McSweeney an excuse to pin a target on me. I never knew what hit me until years later when the pieces started to fall into place.

Once I was out of my home, the thief had free and total access to all my most precious belongings day and night for five months. Dawn McSweeney stole everything of value that I had worked for all my life.

This crime shattered my family. But it didn't end there. In 2007, the self-proclaimed "partners in crime" were still free to take everything that belonged to my parents and their heirs - their children and grandchildren.

Canadian Member of Parliament, Marlene Jennings, twice acknowledged publicly that my rights were violated three times by the injustice system but no one will help me.
The Montreal Police who turned over all my precious belongings and the lives and property of my parents to the thief did not file a report and the Montreal Police have refused repeatedly ever since to take any action against the thief and her accomplices.

Even when these criminals took my widowed mother from her home and kept her in total isolation for almost a decade, the Montreal Police refused to investigate.

It was only days after my mother's death in 2007 when I was taken from my apartment by the police again.

Even when these criminals created a bizarre and malicious application for a court order to have me declared insane and dangerous, the Montreal Police would not investigate.

A judge issued the court order in four minutes without any medical evidence, without any witnesses but the criminals themselves and without ever speaking to me.

The CLSC Pierrefonds apologized in writing for their part in these crimes.

Russell Copeman, MNA, appealed for justice - to no avail.

I have appealed to every member of government, every authority, every agency I could think of. I am told  "It is not our jurisdiction," "No one did anything wrong". "Get a lawyer."

These criminals are still free to enjoy everything they stole.

I do not want money or compensation.

I can't afford a lawyer.

I am not eligible for legal aid.

What I want is justice. I want the criminals tried in criminal court.

I want the authorities to return everything Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime" have stolen from me and from my family - all my best jewellery and every personal item left to me by my beloved husband - and I want them to return to the family - not to me - my parents' property and money.

Thanks to the Internet, I can tell the world about these devastating crimes in the hope of finding a hero - one honourable person who will read about what was done to me and to my family and care enough to take the necessary steps to bring Dawn McSweeney and her accomplices before an honest judge in criminal court and return everything they stole.

DAWN MCSWEENEY ALSO STOLE PAINTINGS

****************************

Scene of the Crimes: 4995 Prince of Wales, NDG, Montreal, Quebec

Date:: October 7, 1996

The Thief: Dawn Brenda Anne McSweeney

The Victims: Phyllis Carter and the Rubin Family

All the details of these crimes have been reported to the Montreal Police repeatedly since October 7, 1996 and I have provided them with all the documents of proof.

The Montreal Police do nothing.

Along with seven pages of precious inventory, Dawn McSweeney also stole three of my oil paintings.

1. A view from the patio of my former home in Dollard des Ormeaux.

2. Historic house in Quebec City by evening light

3. Two horses running on the beach.

These painting were made in the 1960's and signed P. Mass. They were on the walls at 4995 Prince of Wales on the day I was attacked, and evicted by a Montreal Police Officer without benefit of any legal procedure and with no justification but the word of my attacker.

I made a police report, but the Montreal Police do nothing.

PARTNERS IN CRIME: A MATTER OF PUBLIC RECORD

On October 7, 1996, I was attacked and robbed in my parents' Montreal home, where I had been living for two years while recovering from breast cancer. At the beginning of October my teenage niece, Dawn McSweeney, and her boyfriend Alex had moved in with us. Within a week of Dawn's arrival, I was suddenly attacked for no apparent reason and without any warning. In shock, I managed to call 911.

One of the two officers who responded to my distress call 'helped' me out the door without as much as a coat. In front of my assailant, the officer told me that I must never return. This police officer's unilateral decision to evict me, forbidding me to return home, gave all my most precious belongings, and my aged parents' lives and property into the hands of Dawn McSweeney.

This action was taken without any investigation. There was no legal procedure. No hearing. No court procedure. No trial. No judgment. No background to support such an action. No justification. The officer just decided to do it. And then - he did not file a report.

Widowed, unemployed and fighting cancer, the Montreal Police abandoned me in the street alone, cold, homeless and destitute. My entire life was locked up behind me, in the hands of my teenage niece, Dawn McSweeney. I pleaded with the police to file a report, to go to the house and see for themselves the proof of what I was saying. They refused again and again. For six months, the police refused repeatedly to file a report. At 60, I had to start life again - from scratch.

Quebec's Police Ethics Commissioner, Denis Racicot, wrote to me: "The police have large powers and vast authority .... The case is "definitively closed." Large powers - to help criminals? Vast authority - to rob widows ?

I appealed to Quebec Premier Jean Charest. He wrote to say that the theft of all my jewellery and the fruit of my life's work and the personal treasures my husband left to me, is "a civil matter of an unfortunate nature." Grand larceny is a civil matter ?

After the robbery, Dawn's mother, Debbie McSweeney, our youngest sister, obtained power of attorney from both my parents. Every other member of the family, social services, fire protection inspectors and even police detectives, were barred from my parents' home thereafter.

In April, 2004, the home of our youth looked like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie, doors and windows overgrown with dead vines. I called for help and learned that my mother had been removed from her home. So I went to the police station to file a missing person report. The officer could not file a report - because Debbie, told him by telephone that she knew where mother was. To see your mother or get information about where or how she is, you have to file a civil suit. "But you will need a lawyer." But that would take months ! Can't the police check on my mother now ? Sorry.

The following is a matter of Public Record.

In June, 2007, we learned that our mother had died. She was buried on June 21, 2007 after being kept in total seclusion by Debbie and her associates from the day of the robbery. Suddenly, on June 26, I started receiving hate mail and threats to drop the robbery case were posted on my blog. I reported that to the police immediately. The next afternoon, June 27, two police officers came to my door with a court order to have me committed for a 30-day mental evaluation, accusing me of being insane and dangerous. I was released from the hospital unconditionally on June 29, 2007.

The Suburban weekly newspaper carried that story in two parts,
on September 5, 2007 and on September 12, 2007.

The following is also a matter of Public Record.

Weeks later, I found out why a complete stranger wanted me silenced: My accuser, the mise en cause who applied for the court order, was one Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme, a person I do not know and with whom I have never spoken. This same Prud'homme is named as the liquidator of a will in my mother's name created when she was 92 years old, handicapped mentally and physically and had been totally under the physical control and influence of Debbie and this group for a decade. Their will was notarized and executed, but OUR MOTHER DID NOT SIGN THAT WILL. All the children were included in the wills my parents had made. Only Debbie and Dawn McSweeney and Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme benefit from the bizarre 2005 will.

Months later, I discovered Dawn McSweeney's own blog on the internet. The heading reads:

grasping at intangibles

Dedicated to partners in crime and kindred spirits.
Voyeurs and well wishers also welcome.

http://graspingatintangibles.blogspot.com/

In November, 2007, my Member of the Quebec National Assembly wrote an appeal to the Conseil de la Magistrature against the judge who condemned me with his court order in less than four minutes without ever seeing me or speaking to me and without any medical evidence, but based solely on the bizarre accusations made by a man I do not know and Debbie who had not spoken with me since 1997. The Conseil de la Magistrature of Quebec replied that the judge did nothing wrong.

I am now 72 years old. I have been fighting for justice in this case for twelve years. I will never give up. I want to make it very clear that I will not accept money or "compensation" from anyone. I want my parents' true wills to be reinstated. I do not want anything from my parents' estate for myself. I want only what Dawn McSweeney and her associates stole from me. And I want the thieves tried in criminal court.

I am fighting for that rare and elusive treasure - JUSTICE !
I will not settle for anything less.

Phyllis Carter
2008

My name is Phyllis Carter. I am a Canadian and I am a crime victim.  I have been fighting for justice since October 7, 1996, when I was attacked in my home and robbed of everything I had worked for all my life and everything left to me by my beloved husband. A Montreal Police officer helped the thief and the police have refused to pursue this case from the start. They say their hands are tied and crime victims have no rights.

At the Meet the Candidates assembly in NDG on October 7, 2008, Liberal Member of Parliament, Marlene Jennings, stated before all the candidates and the public, "Mrs. Carter's rights were violated three times". She indicated that there was nothing she could do about the first and second violations because of the system, but she will help me with the third violation - the 2005 will made in my 92 year old mother's name.

The three violations.

1. In 1996, the Montreal Police refused to file a report of the initial robbery. They have continued to refuse to act ever since.

2. In 2007, immediately following the death of my mother, the same group of criminals obtained a court order accusing me of being insane and dangerous. I was released from hospital unconditionally as soon as the doctors found out what my accusers had done and why. After my mother's death, we learned that -

3. In 2005, the same group who call themselves "Partners in Crime" created a will in my mother's name when she was 92 years old and handicapped physically and mentally. My mother was kept in total isolation by these criminals for ten years - until her death. The sole beneficiaries of the 2005 will were the same people who robbed me and obtained the court order against me. Then it became clear why these criminals tried to discredit me and silence me.

Dawn McSweeney and her associates robbed me and my family. I have provided copious evidence to the Montreal Police from the start, but the Montreal Police do nothing.  Now I wait for Marlene Jennings to act.

Dawn McSweeney's blog title reads:

"Dedicated to partners in crime and kindred spirits.
Voyeurs and well wishers also welcome."

If the Montreal Police had acted properly on October 7, 1996, Dawn McSweeney and her "Partners in Crime" would never have had the chance to steal all my most precious possessions or to obtain a court order declaring me insane and dangerous. They would never have had the opportunity to make a will in my mother's name, when she was 92 years old and handicapped - physically and mentally. A will from which only the circle of thieves benefitted. They would not have been able to keep our mother in total isolation for a decade until her death in 2007.

Everything that has happened since October 7, 1996, can be directly linked to the incompetence and perhaps, corruption, of the Montreal Police and Quebec's so-called "justice system".

Phyllis Carter

THE CLSC APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR PART IN THE CRIME.

To try to discredit, intimidate and silence me so that I would stop pursuing the criminal case of the robbery that took place on October 7, 1996, the "partners in crime" obtained a court order accusing me of being insane and dangerous.

A social worker at the CLSC helped Debbie McSweeney and Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme to draft the application for that court order. There were no witnesses and there was no medical evidence. I was never contacted.

My accusers were Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme, a complete stranger to me, and my sister, Debbie Rubin McSweeney, who has not spoken a word to me since  1997. My mother's death was the trigger. I had to be silenced. A secret was about to be revealed, but I didn't know anything about it then.

The judge issued the court order in four minutes without ever speaking to me or anyone other than Mr. Prud'homme and Debbie. On this basis, two policemen came to my apartment and took me away.

APOLOGY RECEIVED FROM CLSC (Quebec Community Clinic)

Subject: Complaint from Mrs. Phyllis Carter
(File Number .........)

Dear Mr. Copeman,

Following our meeting, I proceeded to investigate the incident that led to Mrs. Phyllis Carter being evaluated against her will.

The Social Worker who assisted Mrs. Carter's sister in this endeavour followed the established procedure to submit a request for psychiatric evaluation. However, while conducting this investigation, in collaboration with the Director of Mental Health program, we realized that the option of informing the respondent (person for whom the request is made), as well as verifying this person's mental health, was not present.

In Mrs. Carter's case, the Social Worker took for granted the sister' statements about Mrs. Carter's behaviour. Therefore, the "Protocole requete pour evaluation psychiatrique" should be revised to include the procedure of verifying the person's mental status before sending in the request.

The West Island Health and Social Services Centre would like to apologize to Mrs. Carter for this experience. The supervisor of the Psychosocial intake, Mr. Claude Girouard, is willing to talk to Mrs. Carter, should she wish to do so. He can be reached at 514 -------- Ext. -----

Users' complaints represent an occasion for the establishment to improve the quality of its services. We thank you for bringing this situation to our attention.

Yours truly,

THE CASABLANCA AND LE TOUCHE BAR - BEHIND THE SCENES

*********************

My husband, Cliff Carter, Mr. Nostalgia of RCA Records, was a talented gentleman who played his piano with ease and sang melodies that mellowed his supper club and lounge audiences.

What most people don't know is what goes on behind the scenes. I am talking about the Montreal nightclub scene in the 1980's.

Cliff and I were walking on St. Denis Street in Montreal late one afternoon when we came upon a club called The Casablanca. Anyone who ever met Cliff Carter would understand that The Casablanca would have a special appeal to us. We found the door open before business hours and went in. A couple of gentlemen met us and took one look at Cliff and asked if he could play something for them. And he was hired.

And the owners put a brass star with Cliff Carter's name into the pavement in front of the door of The Casablanca. I often wonder where that star is now.

But it wasn't that simple. Every pay day, the brother of one of these men came for his "cut". Even though he had done absolutely nothing to get Cliff the gig, he claimed he was an agent of the Montreal Musicians' Guild, and maybe he was. But it made no difference. I was too scared to protest, and Cliff was resigned to this kind of business. He just paid him every week.

While playing at Le Touche Bar in the hotel on the north east corner of Sherbrooke and Peel Street, Cliff had to pay another "agent" who had done absolutely nothing to get him his job.

One day we sat in the sun porch of Le Touche Bar with this Musicians' Guild agent who had his hand reaching under the table for his money, and I asked him what would happen if someone didn't pay.

I will always remember his answer, "Well, I'm not one of those who break fingers but..." So Cliff paid. And I remember how helpless we were to do anything about it.

STEPHEN LOCKE - LE PIMENT ROUGE, MONTREAL

******************
The evil that men do lives after them. The good is oft interred with their bones.
Mark Antony, Julius Caesar, Act 3- William Shakespeare.

In the early 1980's, my husband, Cliff Carter - Mr. Nostalgia of RCA Records - was pianist at The Abacus Restaurant on Shakespeare Rd. in the West island of Montreal. His employer was Marc Schwartz.

Marc Schwartz had a business partner named Stephen Locke.

After Cliff had worked at The Abacus for quite some time, he was to end his gig there. Stephen Locke was to bring Cliff his last pay cheque.

But that cheque never came. At first, Locke said there was some delay, but don't worry. When we pursued it, Stephen Locke said that his car had been broken into and Cliff's pay cheque had been stolen.

He never explained why Cliff should be deprived of his pay because of this bizarre "crime". He refused to replace the "stolen" cheque.

Very soon afterward, Stephen Locke opened Le Piment Rouge on Metcalf Street at Dominion Square in Montreal. One may wonder if Cliff's missing pay cheque was the only irregularity in this strange business.

As I recall all these years later, we appealed to the Musicians' Guild, but I can't recall the outcome with certainty. I believe there was some compensation from the union. But money was not the only issue. The real issue was honesty and respect, both of which were sorely lacking in this matter.

Cliff Carter was not only a beautiful pianist and singer, he was a fine, gentle, decent man, admired and respected by his fellow artists and fans. I honour his memory with great love - and truth.

Time does not erase injustice. I don't know or care where Stephen Locke is today, but I do care that injustice be recorded for all the world to see and remember. The evil that men do .....

Lest we forget.

TO CATCH A THIEF PROTECTED BY MONTREAL POLICE

*********************

Somewhere there is someone who knows about the robbery at 4995 Prince of Wales, NDG, Montreal, October 7, 1996.

Somewhere there is someone who knows how to catch a thief without using violence.

Dawn McSweeney robbed me and my family. The truth is the only weapon needed to bring us justice.

If Dawn McSweeney were innocent, she would have cleared herself of this thirteen years ago, but she refused to take a police polygraph, as did her boyfriend of the day, Alex Lavergne. There is no doubt of her guilt. But a Montreal Policeman helped the thief that day and the Montreal Police have covered up this crime all these years. Maybe they thought I would give up. But I never will until Dawn McSweeney is tried in criminal court and all our belongings and property are returned.

Read about the self-proclaimed "partners in crime" at

If you know the truth and you want to clear your conscience, post a comment, or report to Marlene Jennings, M.P. and the Montreal Police. There may be some officer somewhere who is honest enough to take your report and start a real investigation. Somewhere in the Montreal Police department, there must be at least one honest officer.

Like Diogenes, I will never give up seeking that one honest person. Like Abraham pleading for Sodom and Gomorrah, I hope to find just a few honourable people.

There is a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who robbed me - those I have identified to the police and to the world over and over and over again for thirteen years - and for the return of our stolen belongings.

_SPVM  - MONTREAL POLICE - ACKNOWLEDGE COMPLAINT_
(
http://phylliscartersjournal.blogspot.com/2010/05/spvm-montreal-police-acknowledge.html)

*********************************************************************
I have just received the following acknowledgement of my complaint
from the Montreal Police Service - SPVM.

Based on my thirteen years of pleading for justice, I am certain that
the Montreal Police will quickly tell me - once again - that the case  is
closed - that is, the case that the Montreal Police intend never to see
before a criminal court. There may be excuses or stalling for weeks or months, but rest assured, the Montreal Police will not go after these criminals
until someone in authority forces them to do so.

Who has the authority to do so ? Who has the will ? Who really cares
about  justice ? I have been stalled, refused, rejected, ignored and delayed
for  thirteen years. Now the Quebec Human Rights Commission tells me I am
"too late"  for justice.

Who is above all this ? Is there a righteous one among you ?

FACE REALITY AND LIVE

*********************************

May 17, 2010

Over this past weekend several cyclists died on highways in the Montreal area.

In ancient times when I was young, we were taught to ride our bikes facing oncoming traffic. That way, we could see what was coming and have a chance to move clear.

Some time later this practice was discouraged or outlawed. Some say it is because the accumulated speed of a car and a bicycle heading toward each other would be more dangerous.

As pedestrians and drivers, we are taught to look - not at the oncoming vehicle - but at the other driver's eyes, so we can see if he or she is aware of our presence.

Imagine pedestrians showing their backs to oncoming traffic. Ridiculous! Though I know so many people do just that, assuming the driver won't hit them. It seems no one ever blames the pedestrians who were talking to friends or looking at their feet instead of at traffic when they were struck down. You don't go into battle showing the enemy your back.

You can drown in a swimming pool, you can drown in the ocean. You are not more dead either way. If a car strikes a biker from behind at 60 miles an hour minus the bike's forward speed of 10 miles an hour or, face on at an accumulated speed of 70 miles an hour, the outcome will be equally horrific.

Give everyone a chance to survive. Cyclists should face reality, the oncoming traffic.

SPVM - MONTREAL POLICE - ACKNOWLEDGE COMPLAINT

**********************************

I have just received the following acknowledgement of my complaint from the Montreal Police Service - SPVM.

Based on my thirteen years of pleading for justice, I am certain that the Montreal Police will quickly tell me - once again - that the case is closed - that is, the case that the Montreal Police intend never to see before a criminal court. There may be excuses or stalling for weeks or months, but rest assured, the Montreal Police will not go after these criminals until someone in authority forces them to do so.

Who has the authority to do so ? Who has the will ? Who really cares about justice ? I have been stalled, refused, rejected, ignored and delayed for thirteen years. Now the Quebec Human Rights Commission tells me I am "too late" for justice. Who is above all this ? Is there a righteous one among you ?

LIKE THE NAZIS, DAWN MCSWEENEY STOLE PERSONAL TREASURES
******************************************************************
Like Adolph Hitler and his Nazi henchman, Dawn McSweeney and her self-proclaimed "partners in crime" stole personal treasures.

This painting by Gustav Klimt was stolen by the Nazis and finally returned to the family that owned it. It took many years, but justice finally came for this family.

National Public Radio reported on January 17, 2006 that "The Austrian National Gallery is being compelled by a national arbitration board to return five paintings by Gustav Klimt to a Los Angeles woman, the heir of a Jewish family that had its art stolen by the Nazis.                         http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gustav_Klimt

HERE ARE TWO OF THE TREASURES DAWN MCSWEENEY STOLE.

Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime" stole this, my wedding portrait ... and

(Photo deleted)

Dawn McSweeney and her "partners in crime" stole my husband's trademark Stetson hat seen below on his album cover, Mr. Nostalgia, Cliff Carter.

(Photo deleted)

Dawn McSweeney also stole the studio portrait of Cliff and me taken at the same time as the album cover by photographer Linda Corbett, along with all our best jewellery and Cliff's New Jersey Deputy Sheriff's badge which meant so much to him. It is worth more than gold to me.

But Dawn also stole all my gold, diamond rings, and all my other gemstone jewellery, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, brooches - everything I had worked for all my life and every gift I had ever received.

Dawn McSweeney stole more than one a lifetime of love and labour.

I gave all the documents of proof to the police. But the police do nothing.

Because the Montreal police refused to act on the 1996 robbery, in 2005, one of the "partners in crime" - a stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme - made a will in our mother's name when she was 92 years old and handicapped, physically and mentally.

All the children and grandchildren who were named in my parents' own wills were omitted. Only Dawn McSweeney and her mother, Debbie Rubin McSweeney, benefited, And the liquidator of my father's property was Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme a complete stranger to us.

When our mother died in 2007, the "partners in crime" took everything that my father had worked for all his life - his house and all his money - everything that belonged to his children and his grandchildren according to his own will.

How many more years will I have to wait for the return of my personal treasures ?

If Dawn and her "partners in crime" have desecrated these treasures, I will ensure that they receive the appropriate punishment.

I will keep on fighting day and night until I find at least one person in authority who really cares about justice and who will finally take Dawn and her "partners in crime" before a judge in criminal court and return everything they stole from me and from my family.

NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE !

FEAR ME ! JUSTICE WILL BE DONE !

**************************************
Canada has laws, but we do not have justice.

Phyllis Carter

Fear me ! I have the most powerful weapon on earth and I intend to use it. My weapon isn't something you can buy, but it costs a lot. It is available to everyone all the time, but few people use it. It is simply - the truth. It is the weapon that villains great and small all over the world have feared through all of time. And I use it without hesitation or restraint, confidently, because it is right to do so.

I would never try to harm Dawn McSweeney even though she robbed me and shattered my family and has torn apart our lives. You see, Dawn McSweeney is already severely wounded. She was wounded as a child by parents who allowed her to do whatever she pleased, and by a sick grandmother and mother who taught her to believe in ghosts and tea leaves and crystals and little telepathic men in flying saucers who land in the back yard, instead of in truth and kindness and honesty and respect.

Dawn McSweeney grabbed everything I worked for all my life and stole every precious gift anyone ever gave me, every dear and personal thing that belonged to my beloved husband. She lied and manipulated and destroyed our family.

Most tragically, she allowed my parents to go to their graves with her lies and her crimes on their hearts and their family destroyed. At their funerals, Dawn wept bitter tears - the tears of a liar and a thief. Did she love my parents? Who knows what goes on in the mind of a person who can commit such atrocities against her own family and still write sweet poetry?

Dawn refused to take a police polygraph test after the robbery she committed on October 7, 1996, but I will gladly take a polygraph test at any time.

I have every reason to hate Dawn, but I have never approached her in all these thirteen years. I never even asked where she lives. I don't want to know anything about her except where it concerns what she stole.

My weapon is truth and, in spite of all the years of frustration and rejection, I will continue to trust in it and use it against every incompetent and corrupt person who is standing in the way of justice in this criminal case.

I have been told by the Quebec Human Rights Commission that I am now too late for justice. After being rejected and refused and denied for thirteen years, now I am told I am too late.

But I have fought for justice day and night all these years, and I will keep on fighting until my last breath. Our politicians refuse to take action against the criminals, but I will never stop until they do.

Canada has laws, but we do not have justice. That will have to change.

POLITICIANS TURN NDG INTO A SLUM

******************************
Anyone who knows the record of Michael Applebaum's and Marvin Rotrand's borough council will not be surprised by this Letter to the Editor published in The Montreal Gazette on May 15, 2010.

Having attended borough council meetings for years, we NDG residents have seen how this political slate favours Cote des Neiges and has contempt for the people of NDG. This is not only my opinion but the evidence can be verified by the record.

While Cote des Neiges is showered with goodies, NDG is being destroyed. From the smothering of the Fraser Hickson Library to the brutalizing of Benny Park to the conditions of our streets, NDG is ignored and abused by these politicians.

The only thing Michael Applebaum and his supporters want in NDG is the grand palace of a sports centre being created to bring glory to Applebaum - at the taxpayers' expense.

Re: "War memorial; Desecrated with graffiti" (Gazette, May 11).

Sad as the recent graffiti desecration of the Notre Dame de Grâce War Memorial was, the real explanation as to why it was is even sadder: The vandals just ran out of walls in the rest of N.D.G.

The last several years has seen N.D.G.'s physical appearance deteriorate rapidly. The crumbling streets, the defaced properties and, as summer approaches, a sea of weeds as far as the eye can see. A beautiful community is giving way to a slum.

Our politicians can devise every strategy and trick to ensure that police ticket every car that stops beyond the painted line, doesn't signal their turn sufficiently in advance or other high car crime but sit on their hands while N.D.G. turns ugly under the weight of this neglect.

Borough Mayor Michael Applebaum continues his war on the car by now reducing the speed limit on the main thoroughfares to 40 km/h to stop the "carnage" on our streets that we read about on a daily basis in The Gazette or is it to make it easier for the tax collectors to ticket cars (revenues must be dropping).

I wish they would put the same ingenuity into stopping this urban scourge. Instead of standing around for photo-ops with speed signs maybe our councillors could do something useful, like donning coveralls and getting to working removing graffiti. They could start with the War Memorial.

MARLENE JENNINGS, M.P. - AIDING AND ABETTING

***********************************
Reading the history of the robbery at 4995 Prince of Wales that took place on October 7, 1996, the interested observer will follow the injustices that have been visited on me and my family by our so-called "justice system". All the facts are presented clearly so that anyone who cares to can follow the case.

But there is one area of the case that is not clear. Shortly after I was attacked and robbed, I appealed to Marlene Jennings for help. She replied that my troubles were not in her jurisdiction. I thought that my Member of Parliament and experienced Police Ethics Commissioner would know how to get this criminal case to criminal court. I believed Marlene Jennings had the knowledge, experience and contacts to do it. But she wrote that it was not in her jurisdiction.

It was about 2008 when Mrs. Jennings found that she was able to help and she acknowledged publicly on two occasions that my rights had been violated three times.

Mrs. Jennings prepared some papers which I signed. I breathed a sigh of relief thinking, at long last - at long last ! - I would see the day when Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime would stand before a judge in criminal court and the law would make the thieves return every precious thing they have stolen from me and from my family.

Marlene Jennings was re-elected in 2008. And everything stopped. I appealed to her time and time again - but my pleas were met with dead silence.

In 2009, I fell ill - very seriously ill. As soon as I could rise from my hospital bed, I went to a computer in the hospital and started sending out emails appealing for help with the case. But no help came from Marlene Jennings. Only good wishes and get well soon.

Friends in the community tried to help, some tried to intervene. Finally, on May 6, 2010, I received a telephone call from Diane Phaneuf, Adjointe de circonscription/ Constituency Assistant Bureau de l'hon. Marlene Jennings, C.P. députée, Office of the Hon. Marlene Jennings, P.C. MP, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce - Lachine.

Mme. Phaneuf told me that she had already talked to me about the case two weeks earlier.

Diane Phaneuf had not spoken to me since I went to Marlene Jennings' office to sign the papers in 2008.

There seems to be some confusion in the office of Marlene Jennings, M.P.

After I pointed out that she had not spoken to me since 2008, and reminded her that Dawn McSweeney and her partners in crime are still free to enjoy all the benefits of my stolen belongings and my parents' property and money, Diane Phaneuf said she would speak to Marlene Jennings about it again.

As I write, it is May 14, 2010.

I am still waiting for Marlene Jennings. I am still waiting for justice. But not just waiting. I am fighting for justice day and night. I am telling the world about these crimes aided and abetted by the Montreal Police and ignored by the people we have elected to protect us.

I am fighting for my life and I am fighting for justice.

I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR JUSTICE - QUEBEC HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION

***************************************

I was attacked in my home and robbed by Dawn McSweeney on October 7, 1996. Since that day, I have been pleading for justice day and night.

Phyllis Carter

To Anne-Marie Laurin,
Quebec Human Rights Commission

Mme. Laurin,

You say my claim for justice comes too late: Once again our injustice system spits in my face. I started begging for justice in this case the moment I called 911 on October 7, 1996.

I have been pleading for justice in this case day and night for thirteen years.

Since October 7, 1996 everyone in authority has told me I am not eligible for justice. There is always a reason, an excuse. It is always, "Be patient" " Then, "It is not in our jurisdiction:" "Get a lawyer" "We are not responsible" "No one did anything wrong."

If I were rich and could have hired expensive lawyers, this case would have been dealt with years ago. But because I was never rich - but not eligible for legal aid - I must continue fighting on alone.

I will die fighting this injustice system. I will never stop fighting all of you who tell me why I am not eligible for justice.

Dear Ms Carter,

I was on vacation for the last 3 weeks, so unable to contact you after
you send me your first Email of April 26.

I have carrefully read your sad story and realised the ordeal you are
living since 1996.

Unfortunately, all these events occured a long time ago, much over the
3 years  prescription to file a complaint at the Human Right's
Commission.

I realised the difficulty you had to obtain justice, but I can only
suggest for you to persist to find a lawyer who can indicate  the most
appropriate steps for you to take.

KILLER LIGHT BULBS - WHERE CAN I HIDE ?

****************************

The Canadian Government plans to ban the light bulbs we have used for decades. Only mercury light bulbs will be legal and available to us. I can imagine light bulbs becoming like drugs, something people have to try to obtain furtively, like criminals.

Common sense would tell any rational person that, if a light bulb can cause injury in the short term, there will be disastrous effects over time. And then, in years to come, some government official will be saying "We're sorry. We didn't know."

I am allergic to the sun. If the mercury light bulbs are imposed on us, I will have to be completely covered up at all times. I will have to bathe in the dark, eat in the dark, go out of my house only after dark, avoid visiting anyone or going shopping because the only light available will be coming from the killer bulbs. I will even have to be totally covered in sheets in hospital.

In fact, I will have to live in the dark or die.

Politicians have protected the tobacco industry for decades, while knowing that tobacco kills. Now the politicians will add these light bulbs to the life-threatening dangers we must face.

Where can I hide?  How do we stop them ?

OUR AGED MOTHER DISAPPEARED MTL. POLICE REFUSE TO INVESTIGATE

  *********************************

On October 7, 1996, I was attacked and robbed in my home at 4995 Prince of Wales, NDG, Montreal where I had been living with my parents for two years while under treatment for cancer. Less than a week prior to the attack, my niece, Dawn McSweeney and her boyfriend, Alex Lavergne had suddenly moved in with us. My mother said it was because Alex Lavergne's family intended to do him harm and he needed to hide.

The police I called to help me removed me from my home and left me in the street, alone and destitute without as much as a coat.

In April, 2004, I found that my mother had disappeared from her house and no one knew where she was. I went to the police. The police phoned Dawn's mother, Debbie McSweeney. She told them that I was just trying to cause trouble. Once again, the police refused to investigate. No one in the family ever saw our mother again.

In June, 2007, we learned from Paperman Funeral Services that our mother had died while in the care of Dawn McSweeney's mother, Debbie Rubin McSweeney.

After our mother's death, we learned that, in 2005, a total stranger named Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme had made a will in our mother's name.

That new will benefited Debby McSweeney, Dawn McSweeney and the liquidator, Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme.

All my parents' children and grandchildren who were the heirs of my parents' own wills were omitted from Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme's 2005 will.

The following report appeared on my blog, DAWN MCSWEENEY in May, 2007.

http://dawnmcsweeney.blogspot.com

A family member is not allowed to murder you, but in Montreal, Canada, a family member can steal everything you own and the police do not consider it a crime. In Montreal if you cannot afford a lawyer, you are at the mercy of the police. I am the victim of a robbery that tore my family apart. The thief was my (then) teenage niece. I told the police who the thief was and begged them to come and see where my possessions were being held. The police refused repeatedly. Subsequently, the mother of the thief, my youngest sister, took over all my family's possessions and my mother has not been seen by anyone for several years. Only the thief's family knows where she is. The police refuse to do anything about it It is not libellous to tell the truth. Here is the whole story.

It started in October 1996, when I was attacked and robbed in my parents' home where I had been living for two years while recovering from breast cancer.

Suddenly at the beginning of October, my teenage niece Dawn and her boyfriend Alex moved in with us. Within a week of Dawn's arrival, on October 7, my mother suddenly attacked me without any apparent reason and without any warning. In shock, I called 911 for help to escape the violence. I would not lift a finger to defend myself against my aged mother.

One of the two officers who responded to my distress call 'helped' me out the door without as much as a coat. In front of my assailant, the officer told me that I must never return.

This police officer's unilateral decision to evict me, forbidding me to return home, gave all my most precious belongings, as well as my aged parents' lives and property into the hands of my teenage niece.

This action was taken without any investigation. There was no legal procedure. No hearing. No court procedure. No trial. No judgment. No background to support such an action. No justification. The officer just decided to do it. And then - he did not file a report.

Widowed, unemployed and fighting cancer, the police abandoned me in the street alone, cold, homeless and destitute. My entire life was locked up behind me, in Dawn's hands. I pleaded with the police at the local police station to file a report, to go to the house and see for themselves. They refused again and again, saying, "Your mother ask you to be patient and everything will be return to you." For five months, the Montreal Police refused repeatedly to file a report. At 60, I had to start life again - from scratch.

Shortly after the robbery, my insurance company, Prudential - to whom I had paid premiums for more than 30 years - washed their hands of the matter, saying that the police had not filed a report on time. I told them I would not accept compensation. I just wanted them to investigate - to go to the house and see my belongings there with their own eyes. All my boxes and cases were clearly marked with my name and inventoried. Like the police, Prudential refused to investigate.

The police finally did an investigation months later. It appeared to be a serious investigation, but later they told me that they had found no fingerprints on the items Dawn returned to me. But Dawn handled those things and I handled them. If there had been any kind of investigation, they would surely have found at least my fingerprints. But the police detectives insisted that there were no fingerprints whatsoever on those things. They did not say the fingerprints were smeared. They insisted there were none.

Quebec's Police Ethics Commissioner wrote me: "The police have large powers and vast Authority .... The case is definitively closed". Large powers - to help criminals? Vast authority - to rob widows ?

Montreal Police Archives just ignored my requests for the report. To obtain a police report, you must have a lawyer. But I can't afford a lawyer.

But you can get a consultation with a lawyer for $35.00 to $50.00. The Bar Association gives you the name of a lawyer who tells you that your case is not important enough for him to waste his time. Your money has already slipped into his right-hand pants pocket.

I asked my member of the Quebec National Assembly, Russell Copeman, for help. He told me that the Police Ethics Commissioner has the last word and that's that - unless you have a lawyer.

( Many years later, after Kenneth Gregoire Prud'homme - a complete stranger  to me - applied for a court order declaring that I was insane and dangerous, Russell Copeman wrote a letter asking that the judge who issued the court order - in four minutes, without ever speaking to me, and without any evidence whatsoever - be found at fault. Of course the authorities said that the judge did nothing wrong.)

I appealed to Premier Jean Charest. He wrote to say that the theft of all my jewellery and the fruit of my life's work and the personal treasures my husband left to me, is "a civil matter of an unfortunate nature." Grand larceny is a civil matter ?

A few years after the robbery, a family member let slip that $2000.00 in cash had been stolen from my parents in 1996. That's when it all came together: That's why my mother attacked me.

Because I had become a Christian, my mother believes that I gave her money to the Anglican Church.

A few years ago, I was told my mother was in hospital and I went to visit her there. On my second visit, I showed her all the empty jewellery boxes Dawn had returned to me months after the robbery. My mother refused to believe that it was Dawn who robbed me. "That would be too terrible to believe," she said. But she did not find it too terrible to believe that I was a thief, because I am the one who had become a Christian.

MY 91 YEAR-OLD MOTHER IS MISSING !

The family was torn apart by Dawn's crimes. My father died in 2000 without knowing the truth about what happened.

April 2004: I went to see the police again because Dawn's mother, my sister Debbie, has moved our mother out of our family home and no one knows where she is.

Debbie obtained power of attorney from both my parents. Every other member of the family, the CLSC social services, fire protection services and even police detectives, were barred from my parents' home thereafter. Now my mother is missing. The home of our youth looks like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie, doors and windows over grown with dead vines. So I went to the police station to file a missing person report.

To acquaint the young officer with the background of the case, I showed him pictures of the dinner ring my grandmother gave me and my designer ring - which were among the many things Dawn stole. The officer asked if I have proof that I own those rings.

Yes, in March, 1997, when Dawn returned my files, I gave the police copies of the certificate, the appraisal, insurance papers, receipts and photos, and the note from my grandmother. (I have the originals of all the documents and there are many copies.) Then the police finally agreed to write a report of the theft.

He said, "The papers prove these (rings) are yours: That's theft."
"Yes," I said, "That's what I've been telling the police all these years."

The officer advised me to go to Montreal Police Archives and ask for copies of the police reports. "BUT TO DO THAT, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LAWYER."

I'm a pensioner. I can't afford a lawyer. But I am not eligible for legal aid.

The officer could not file a missing person report - because Debbie told him that she knows where mother is. To see your mother or to get information about where or how she is, you have to file a civil suit. "BUT YOU WILL NEED A LAWYER."

Still, that would take months! Can't the police check on my mother now ? Sorry.
To sue Dawn for the theft, "You must file a CIVIL suit. BUT YOU NEED A LAWYER."

But surely it's a CRIME to steal jewellery and money ! In any case, I don't want compensation. I want only what is mine. The officer is really sorry.

My father was a very honest and conscientious man. After all those years of hard work and devotion to the family business, he resigned and left his position and his job empty-handed, without pensions or benefits - on a matter of principle. But when I was attacked and robbed, he was too frail and ill to defend me, too intimidated to oppose Dawn who had taken over the family home by deceiving my mother. My father was worn out. He didn't know who was telling the truth and he didn't want to have to choose between me and Dawn. So he obeyed my mother, as he always had, and they both signed over everything to Dawn's mother, Debbie.

In the end, Dawn and her entourage stole everything of value that belonged to me and everything that belonged to my parents and my siblings. No family member has been allowed to see my mother since the robbery. We don't know where she is or what her condition is. And no one will do a thing about it - except me.

I will never give up, but I am 71 years old and it is so hard to fight all alone. I want to make it very clear that I will not accept money or "compensation" from anyone. I am not looking for money: I am fighting for that rare and elusive treasure - JUSTICE - and I will not settle for anything less.

IN QUEBEC:

IF YOU ARE RICH, YOU CAN HIRE A LAWYER.
IF YOU ARE A CRIMINAL, QUEBEC WILL PROVIDE A LAWYER.
IF YOU ARE A CRIME VICTIM, THERE IS NO HELP.
IF YOUR MOTHER IS MISSING, THAT'S YOUR OWN PROBLEM.

That is "Justice Quebec Style".

I am living it AND FIGHTING IT.  I wish you were too.
